- You have to accept the tension in your art practice.
- Don’t overanalyze your work.
- Work with a sense of wonder and the piece will reflect that wonder
- Write down the side-track thoughts and ideas.
- Finish what you’re already working on and when you have time, come back to those writings.
- Sometimes you can have an idea that is still a good one, but it still may not be the right time for it. Hold onto those thoughts. Because they were given to you means that there will be a time to use them.
